BBGDF hosts its 15th annual Teen Dating Violence Awareness Summit - Promoting Healthy Relationships on Saturday, February 22 at 10 am. Please join us for this FREE event open to all parents, guardians and teenagers.
February is recognized as Teen Dating Violence Prevention Month. Statistics indicate that one in three adolescents in the United States will experience physical, sexual, or emotional abuse within a romantic relationship prior to reaching adulthood. Given the alarming prevalence of such violence, it is imperative that we prioritize education and intervention efforts. It is essential to discuss the warning signs of teen dating violence, particularly the often-overlooked ramifications of emotional and psychological abuse.
